v6.1.2 introduces the per-address “Light 3” booking theme, rate-gap detection, return-journey pricing, and a custom CSS field.

New Features

  • “Light 3” booking theme — A new per-address booking form layout where each collection/delivery stop has its own date and time fields. Ideal for multi-stop jobs where different stops need different scheduling.
  • Per-service percentage surcharges — Fuel surcharges (and other percentage-based charges) can now be assigned per service type. The amount is calculated as a percentage of the job total and saved alongside the quote.
  • Rate gap detection — The system now detects missing rate bands and shows a clear error message instead of returning a silent £0 quote, preventing accidental zero-price bookings.
  • Return-to-collection and return-to-base pricing — Dedicated rate calculations for return legs where the vehicle returns to the original collection point or to a fixed base address.
  • Custom CSS admin field — Administrators can enter custom CSS directly from the settings panel to adjust the booking form’s appearance without editing theme files.

Improvements

  • Surcharges are now shown on the booking confirmation page.
  • Dropdown arrows and placeholder text for visit type fields are now consistent across all themes.
  • Per-address date and time pickers are correctly initialised for pre-populated (static) addresses on page load.
  • Minimum price and minimum distance enforcement added to the rate calculation engine.
  • Server-side validation added for collection addresses.
  • Import/export feature hardened against security vulnerabilities.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a Chrome bug where the date picker would close immediately after opening (upgraded pickadate.js to 3.6.4).
  • Fixed per-address fields (visit type, time type, collection date) not saving or displaying correctly in the Light 3 theme.
  • Fixed the booking confirmation page crashing when the [your-booking] shortcode included a hardcoded job ID.
  • Fixed the global Date and Time section incorrectly appearing for per-address jobs on the booking page.
  • Fixed WooCommerce block checkout compatibility for the per-address theme.
  • Fixed plain-permalink WooCommerce redirect for per-address theme jobs.
  • Fixed date/time delivery not being received correctly for the Light 3 theme.
