TransitTime Scheduler Overview

What is TransitTime?

TransitTime is a new TransitQuote Pro Add-On to help with scheduling deliveries and other transportation jobs.

Key Features

Automatically calculate and record the full duration of each job including:
- Driving time from your business base or depo to the customer’s address.
- Time on site for each job, for example half an hour for loading and half an hour for unloading. Can be used for any on-site service that takes a set amount of time.
- Driving time between customer pick up and drop off locations.
- Driving time between customer pick up and drop off locations.
Record your fleet size for each vehicle type your business uses. The fleet size for each vehicle type is used to calculate the availability of each vehicle type at any time in the future.
Prevent online bookings at times when all available vehicles of the required type are in use.
- When your customer generates a price on your website, your availability is checked based on existing bookings and driving and fulfilment time for the new job.
- The customer will see a prompt to select a different time slot if the currently selected one is full.
Staff can see bookings in a calendar view
- A new calendar shortcode displays a calendar which can be used in month, week or day views.
- The calendar is only visible when logged into your website with an account with an allowed role such as Administrator, Driver or Dispatch
Bookings can be manually moved via the calendar view.

Is TransitTime Available Now?

TransitTime is currently in beta testing and is available only to customers with a TransitTools subcription.
